The T/34/44/6 business within SAS has an immediate need for a high-potential, high-energy, results oriented HR Administrator on the T-34/44/6 Program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Providing administrative support, such as detachment/travel coordination, management of personnel files, and general support at the direction of the HR Manager
-Maintaining bargaining unit Human Resources files
-Administering hourly programs such as payroll updates, safety shoes/glasses, FMLA filing
-Overseeing random drug sampling, as applicable
-Report grievances and discipline metrics as required
-Providing additional support to the HR Manager and Site Management
Additional responsibilities include routine computer support, managing multiple schedules and confidential material, purchasing, and general record keeping duties.
An Associate¿s Degree or equivalent experience
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and multi-tasking are required along with 1 to 3 years related experience. Position involves extensive use of MS Office Suite.
Must show successful previous experience handling confidential information and situations
Experience in a union-represented manufacturing environment is preferred.
Position is located at NAS Corpus Christi, TX.
Some weekend work and off hours may be required.
Must be able to obtain/maintain all required base access/clearances.
Prefer prior Sikorsky experience. Prior T-34/44/6 program experience within the last 8 months a plus.
