This production position is responsible for producing or assisting in the production of video features for New York Rangers team and marketing initiatives across branded digital platforms and internal communications. Specific responsibilities include; on-location video ENG/Camera assignments (press conferences/events/public and private appearances and exclusive engagements), produce and edit feature packages, media management -- organization/transfer/archiving of footage, plus general equipment and edit system maintenance.

Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate requires a minimum of two full years experience editing and shooting within a production environment. A minimum of one year experience in an interactive/online setting is preferred. Must have strong knowledge in all video and audio production techniques, video photography and digital non-linear editing on Final Cut Pro. Candidates must be thoroughly knowledgeable of PC/Mac platforms and digital distribution formats including web compression formatting techniques. Non-technical skills: Candidates must have a thorough knowledge and passion for New York Rangers hockey and full scope of the NHL. We're looking for a creative "eye" for shot and story line with ability and experience working with marketing and brand direction. Must be ultra-reliable and organized along with the ability to work and deliver within communicated deadlines. A real team player. Job requires travel within metropolitan area so candidates must have transportation of their own with openness to travel assignments nationally. This is a Freelance position that requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
