ABS Associates, Inc. currently has a part time Spanish, Level 1 Helpdesk position available. You must be fluent in Spanish and be able to work Monday-Friday from 2:30pm-6:30pm and/or 3:00pm-7:00pm. We are seeking high-energy professionals with excellent people skills, a compassionate nature, and experience supporting Microsoft Office Applications and Windows.Job Description· Answer/respond to incoming requests and resolve customer problems via the telephone, email, web-submits or chat· Act as a single point of contact for resolution of issues· Document customer requests in call tracking system· Interact with customers and co-workers to diagnose and resolve problems· Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, track, escalate and accurately document various technical problems· Support feature, functionality, and usage of specific applications· Troubleshoot software and hardware problems· Provide level 1 technical support· Stay current on and adhere to established policies, procedures and documentationRequired Skills- Must be able to read/write/speak Spanish - High School Diploma · Microsoft Office (ie Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)· Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes· Windows XP and/or Vista Operating Systems· Active Directory· Minimum 1 year Call Center/Helpdesk experience· Minimum 1 IT certification (ie HDI, A+, MOS, MCSE, Network +) or related coursework· MAC application/hardware a plus· Desktop experience a plus· Strong customer service skills· Technical aptitude with strong PC literacy skills· Strong problem solving skills and decision making ability· Strong enthusiasm and desire to learn· Work well in a team environment· Strong written and verbal communication skills· Ability to learn and apply technical information in a fast-paced, demanding work environment· Effective listening skills· Ability to follow policies and procedures; attention to detail· Self-motivation and organizationAbout ABS Associates, Inc.:Founded in 1982, ABS is a leading IT solutions provider that offers best-of-breed helpdesk, desktop, managed hosting, and network services.
