The Technology Pipeline Solutions (TPS) Team at Monsanto is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our leading edge development team. This position will create complex data analysis pipelines using the open source Hadoop platform. Successful candidates will have experience in large-scale, distributed systems to help leverage Hadoop MapReduce to solve big data problems. As a Senior Java Developer at Monsanto you will have the opportunity to work with new and emerging technology at the beginning stage of deployment.
We encourage creativity in customer software development by leveraging our open sourced frameworks and building custom components. As a senior-level developer you will have the opportunity to mentor and coach entry-level developers in addition to spending the majority of your time coding.
