Job Description:
  • Collects, verifies, and analyzes Incident, problem, asset, and survey data to evaluate trending and identify proper prioritization of resources and focus areas for continuous improvement processes
  • Performs industry research and trend analysis. Reviews data forms for completeness and accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues
  • Enters all data into database, runs reports and analyzes data for errors or irregularities
  • Corrects errors and publishes final report results
  • Manages timely creation, analysis, and reporting of performance metrics
  • Makes recommendations for improvements and enhancements based on assessed data
  • Analyzes new and repetitive events, incidents, and problems of a more complex nature within the technology environment to aid identification of underlying root cause(s) and determine necessary workarounds or process, tools, or equipment corrective action or modifications
  • Produce analysis and reports to demonstrate trends of where incidents are occurring and facilitate the implementation of corrective and preventative measures
  • Conduct detailed trend analysis of historical incidents and system information/performance data to identify potential issues in a proactive manner
  • Perform and/or lead activities related to problem identification, recording, classification, investigation, diagnosis, solution implementation, closure, and after action evaluation in a diverse, globally-distributed environment
  • Manage communication both verbal and written with support teams and senior managers regarding analysis findings, status, and resolution
  • Develop and generate routine reports and views of data to ensure quick identification of negative trending
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • Exposure and some experience working in Oracle, SQL, Windows or programming
  • Previous experience supporting executive or VIP clients
  • Knowledge and proven experience of database structures, tables, unions, joins, and database report generation
  • Ability to make decisions based on the given data in a timely fashion. Handle difficult situations and act quickly to resolve them
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL methodologies, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Availability Management
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, technical and leadership skills
    Experience briefing senior managers and stakeholders on technical and sensitive issues, managing expectations, and achieving consensus and approval of desired objectives
Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Experience supporting DHS USCIS
  • ITIL v3 certification
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
