Duties: Hines VA Hospital is a 483 bed hospital. 2 CRNA's are needed to provide call coverage for a minimal of 2 days per month, one weekend day (24 hr) and one week day (16 hr). Hines Anesthesia follows a team concept of care with CRNA's providing services under the supervision of a Anesthesia Physician.
Types of cases include but are not limited to: hearts/CV, general surgery, orthopedic, podiatry, neurosurgery and plastics.
Moonlighter CRNA will be responsible for call coverage for: OR cases: preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care
Coverage for emergency intubations
Coverage for pain management epidurals
