Perform System Engineering design for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Strike Weapons Systems Division K70 (Systems Engineering) located in the Dahlgren/King George, Virginia area.
Duties to be performed will include: concept definition, system architecture development, system design, development/management of system requirements, human factor engineering, internal and external interface management, system certification, communications engineering, hardware/software design and integration, system interoperability, for weapon systems programs supported by K70.
Some travel within the U.S. may be required in performance of these duties.
--Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific or technical discipline.
--Minimum of 4 years systems engineering experience with U.S. military systems, to include experience developing system architecture and requirements, and top level design.
--Experience creating DoDAF (All view, Operational view, System view, and Technical standard view) products.
--Experience using the System Architect or MagicDraw tools to develop, track and manage system products and requirements.
--The ability to obtain a U.S. DOD Secret level security clearance. Preferred Skills:
--Hold an active, current U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
--Experience developing system requirements and architectural design for U.S. Navy weapon systems such as the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System.
--Experience using Microsoft Office (version 2007 or later) Word, Excel, Powerpoint in support of the performance of systems engineering duties and responsibilities.
