This is a Lead Worker position, which works under general supervision. Positions at this level train other employees and/or monitor the work produced by other employees and perform diverse duties of an advanced and specialized nature. The employee exercises judgment in analyzing facts or circumstances surrounding issues.

Discretion is required in the application of policies, procedures, and guidelines, and in selection of appropriate resources for use in accomplishing assigned work. The decisions made affect operations of the work unit and the organization. Work often requires development of recommendations and independent actions consistent with policies, general directives, and broad regulations. Physical Demands .

Working Conditions . Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or related field and four (4) years progressively responsible probation experience; other relevant criminal justice experience may substitute for probation experience. Preferred Qualifications Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license. Must successfully pass a background investigation with no felony convictions.
