SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Operates Goodwill truck. Works in other areas when there is no need for pick ups or deliveries. Represents Goodwill and corporation to public; dress and actions must make a favorable impression. Assists with minor repairs or building modifications as time allows and as assigned by supervisor.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Customer Service and Job Skills:
Consistently provides good customer service by handling customers’ and employees’ questions and concerns in a timely, professional and courteous manner.

Demonstrates competency in technical and soft skills.

Attends all job related training.

Interacts with employees, clients, customers, families, agencies, support professionals and other community members in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Maintains complete confidentiality of all information involved with program/service participants, staff and/or fiscal matters.

Communicates effectively both written & orally with other co-workers and customers.

Customer/Donor Relations

Properly handles scheduled pick ups to donor satisfaction.

Uses tact to question donors about suitability of their intended donation and is comfortable in turning down donations without alienating donors.

May be required to schedule pick up times.

Dresses and acts appropriately as to present a favorable impression.

Required Skills

Productivity:
Truck Driving

Assist driver in maintaining cleanliness and scheduling maintenance needs of truck.

Storage Warehouses

Assists driver in keeping storage areas clean and organized with safety lanes accessible.

Monitors storage of any Easter Seal/Goodwill equipment (if applicable).

Obeys all policies including dress code of Easter Seals-Goodwill Northern Rocky Mountain.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver’s license consistent with State Motor Vehicle regulations.

MVR clear of driving offenses for previous three years.

Experience driving heavy-duty 1-Ton trucks required, with good depth perception for backing up truck.

Ability to work with people with disabilities or other special needs desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community, ability to communicate clearly.

Able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods required.

Able to move 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.

Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.

Must be able to safely move clothing bales with mechanical help and team lifting (200-225 pounds).

Tolerance of extreme changes in temperature and humidity necessary.
