This position is responsible for supporting the attainment of work unit/functional area goals through the selection, acquisition, analysis and dissemination of relative information. Working independently, the incumbent selects and acquires data from a variety of sources, both print and electronic in response to specific requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain customized reports.
Develop and maintain automated and manual departmental databases.
Select, acquire, screen and analyze a broad variety and depth of information.
Create and update technical documentation.
Assist in monitoring trends and issues.
Gather and summarize data, perform simple calculations.
Input information into computer systems.
Handle special assigned projects for staff, involving activities such as information searches, compilation of data, monitoring and reporting of results.
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities
Role will provide key logistical and technical support to the entire Underwriting Shared Services organization
May perform other duties as assigned.
Excellent communication skills; written and oral
Strong organizational skills
Strong collaboration skills
Advanced research and analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint) and either Outlook or LOTUS Notes
Knowledge of area systems and processes preferred
Capable of working independently with little supervision.
