Supports the equipment maintenance activities in the Photolithography Module to support a high volume manufacturing line.

Responsibilities include:
Performs detailed equipment qualifications.

Schedules preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades and engineering time on tools within their module.

Uses advanced Workstream functions including data collection and analysis to measure equipment and process performance.

Identifies and takes corrective action before SPC out of control conditions occur.

Determines root cause problems and apply solutions.

Develops troubleshooting guides to address specific problems.

Provides input for area layout and ease of workflow.

Participates in improving written specification and procedures.

Communicates with other modules and shifts including suppliers.

Demonstrates leadership within a structured team.

Trains or cross trains on an entire process module and develops and delivers training for NWG.

Adds value to a team by making recommendations and suggestions to improve cycle time, workflow, equipment utilization or cost reduction improvements.

Leads TPM initiatives, TSG usage, CI and chart reviews.

Collects and summarizes experimental test data dealing with process and/or equipment parameters.

Process Focus:
Locates and diagnoses process problems and excursions and takes corrective action.

Performs minor PM's on multiple equipment sets.

Provides input for new process evaluation/acceptance.

Collects and records pertinent data for process qualification, acceptance or characterization.

Processes detailed and complex split lots to qualify new or improved processes and/or equipment.

Equipment Focus:
Locates and diagnoses equipment failures and takes corrective action.

Participates with others in more complex repairs.

Performs moderately complex PM's on multiple equipment sets.

Provides input for new equipment evaluation/acceptance.

Collects and records pertinent data for equipment qualification, acceptance or characterization.

Required Skills:
5+ years wafer fabrication, equipment maintenance

5+ years ASML PAS 5500 steppers/scanners, ASML 1400 Twinscan

Experience on two or more of the following tool sets a plus: Cannon ES6A, TEL Mark8/ACT8/ Lithius tracks, Cymer lasers

5+ installing/sustaining/troubleshooting equipment

Educational Requirement:
Associate's degree with emphasis on electronics, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry or equivalent technical training or experience. A good comprehension of core sciences and prior experience with semiconductor process engineering or equipment maintenance may substitute for a degree
