Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine seeks an Epileptologist to join the Department of Neurology. The position will be based at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Board certification is required as well as fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology. The selected candidate would dedicate most of their time working for the Epilepsy program. Responsibilities include: Seeing patients in the Epilepsy Clinic, interpreting EEGs, admitting patients to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (Video-EEG) and participating in the pre-surgical evaluation of epilepsy patients, including interpretation of intracranial EEG recordings. Candidate will also participate in Intra-Operative Monitoring. Experience and interest in teaching and research are preferred. The selected faculty member will also supervise residents and Clinical Neurophysiology fellows.
