SUMMARY OF POSITION: Manage, create and oversee Travelocity's SEO efforts to maximize the site's performance and profitability ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES: Manage and refine SEO strategy to increase qualified organic search engine rankings Define SEO requirements in a product management capacity by recommending site enhancements that maximize ROI and increase rank of natural search result listings optimizing site architecture, optimizing URL rewrites, and developing alternate directories Serve as internal search expert, driving all communication between Travelocity?s domestic and international companies and Google, Yahoo!, MSN to ensure best practices are shared and leveraged globally Continuously improve tracking, reporting and profitability of the SEO efforts Analyze and translate quantitative and qualitative data from web analytics tool into an actionable SEO plan Research and develop SEO best practices to identify new market opportunities and maximize program profits with improved organic rankings Select and refine SEO keyword list Work closely with internal Marketing team to holistically incorporate marketing promotions and the brand message Manage deliverables, reporting, strategy implementation and all direct communications with internal IT department, analysts, marketing department and ad agency Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years experience post college on interactive agency side. - Excellent analytical skills - Experience analyzing effectiveness of marketing programs and/or channels. - Strong excel modeling skills including use of pivot tables, proficient in power point - Experience working across multiple data sources - Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment - Strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating the findings. - Strong presentation skills - Analysis skills applied to marketing channels - Experience working in online businesses is critical - Desired: experience evaluating marketing channels.
