IT SOA Lead Developer

Due to our success we are hiring a IT SOA Architect/Developer.

This role has the opportunity to drive the core technology around Rally’s systems integrations, standards, and strategic initiatives in an agile, iterative environment. This role will be part of a highly collaborative team that is empowered to create and drive the technical decisions and architectures for the company.

We would like someone with experience designing and delivering a common integration platform ie ESB. Experience in SaaS integration (Salesforce, NetSuite, OpenAir) would be highly valued.

Acts as a subject matter expert in software design, integration implementation, data modeling and related strategies
Analyzes requirements to help define project scope, system interfaces, subsystems, and integration dependencies
Design, implement, and maintain SOA architectures and related integrations among heterogeneous endpoint systems (both SaaS & On-Prem)
Implements common standards, processes, and other automation to facilitate consistent & reliable changes to ecosystem of integrated systems
Works with department stakeholders to define/review/update business processes to improve work flow efficiency and accuracy
Conducts unit testing and integration testing
Mentors junior developers and other team members
Other duties as assigned

10+ years experience in overall IT with 6+ years knowledge of service oriented architecture design, development, and maintenance
Strong Object Oriented skills using open architecture standards such as BPEL, SOAP, REST, WSDL, JSPs, JDBC, SQL, XML, ETL and Java/J2EE best practices, design principles, and techniques.
Prior experience with several successful SOA implementations, including assessment, governance, design, implementation, testing and monitoring
Competent in effectively applying design patterns, integration patterns, messaging patterns
Experience using TDD and Agile development practices
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional and organizational teams
Very strong communications skills, verbal, written and interpersonal are essential in this role.
Strong Database experience (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, etc)
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to manage multiple dynamic priorities

Additional skills :
Knowledge of the best practices for legacy integration into a service-oriented-architecture.
Experience with Boomi Integration Platform.
