Search Engine Marketing (SEM/PPC) Analyst

Do you love analyzing, pivoting, trending, reporting and optimizing multiple campaigns, verticals and portfolios? Do you want to strategize, execute and communicate campaign and portfolio activity for a large client base of advertisers? If yes to all of the above, read on! You will:

Use our proprietary Geneva platform and automated bidding algorithms to manage/optimize thousands of online marketing and paid search campaigns Monitor company-wide and portfolio-wide performance trends while developing strategic optimization plans based on KPI trending and conversion-based goals Create and implement optimization tactics based on diversified media mix, bidding, keyword research, ad copy a/b testing and landing page optimization. Generation of various scheduled and ad-hoc performance reports through the practical use of strong data mining techniques Respond to and implement performance-based actions based on internal and external inquiries in need of subject matter expert attention within contractual time constraints Create summary-style performance presentations using a data-driven technical writing style to be distributed to both internal and external audiences Monitor, track, assist and provide routine updates on Platform, Media and Engineering issues that impact overall campaign performance Cross-collaborate with all teams including Engineering, Client Delivery, Account Management, and Product Development Requirements & Experience:

At least 1 year experience preparing, QA, managing and optimizing multiple paid search/SEM/PPC/diversified media products and campaigns, including developing and researching competitive analysis for keywords, ad copy, and landing pages BA/BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or other technical/quantitative discipline required Exceptional analytical, quantitative, statistical and problem-solving skills that guide complex business decisions, media buying and campaign optimization strategy required Advanced analytical skills and usage of Excel with ability to create and manipulate large datasets, complex pivot tables and charts required Ability to analyze, interpret, extrapolate and communicate complex business strategies, trends and methodologies to all technical and non-technical audiences Proven ability to create data-driven, quantitative Power Point presentations that use technical writing for technical and non-technical audiences (ie: C-Level executives) Ability to write and debug simple-to-intermediate SQL queries and a working knowledge of database tools such as MySQL, MS SQL Server or Oracle preferred Hands-on experience with search engine user interfaces required: Google AdWords, Microsoft/Bing adCenter, Yahoo! Search Marketing, etc. Working knowledge or experience with search engine automated bidding tools, platforms or API’s is also a plus Project manager abilities to communicate, collaborate and time-manage multiple priorities in a team-based environment productively and efficiently High familiarity and working knowledge of industry trends, changes, and news in an ever-evolving competitive landscape with foresight into how these may impact business strategy, goals, and campaign performance Entrepreneurial self-starter in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a willingness to take risks desired Google AdWords Certification and/or Yahoo!/Bing AdExcellence Certification, desired (Certifications required after hire) to apply click below
