This position works as a member of the Technical Support /Services team. Typically, the incumbent will require close supervision and a significant amount of training. However, it is expected that the Member of Technical Staff will increasingly demonstrate the ability to work independently.
In the future candidate will be responsible for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, segmentation and reporting. Working closely with business users to refine requirements and present the findings.
Bachelor degree in Mathematics, some experience and knowledge of statistics, research techniques. Familiarity with predictive modeling, sampling, and data mining. Understanding of direct marketing campaign management technology and processes. Exposure to IBM/SPSS Modeler or SAS tool a plus.
Technical aptitude, including the ability to understand detailed technical information
PC literacy, including working knowledge of desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
Working knowledge of information systems concepts
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to follow directions
Good organizational and problem solving abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
