Diversity/Inclusiveness Associate Director - SEC000PB US-NJ-Secaucus Job summary
                      As Diversity/Inclusiveness Associate Director, you'll serve as a key advisor to business unit (BU) leaders on inclusiveness and diversity at the field level. You'll advise on Americas-wide inclusiveness/diversity initiatives, projects and plans. This will involve assessing needs, and identifying and recommending ideas and programs that contribute to and promote diversity/inclusiveness in the firm. You'll develop and maintain diversity/inclusiveness/flexibility programs and initiatives (that are aligned with the firm) to help recruit, develop and retain staff. In addition you'll develop training programs for Ernst & Young personnel on diversity/inclusion/flexibility. You'll advise on the use of diversity to enhance growth and profitability.

                      In this role, you'll work independently on non-recurring projects with limited direction. You'll direct, support and coach the Center of Expertise (COE) diversity/inclusiveness staff. Your decision-making authority will be fairly broad, and cover the Americas. Alternatively, you may use your technical knowledge rather than have managerial responsibility.

                      • Consult and develop strategies with Sub-Area/BU leaders, partners, Americas Executive Board members and People Team leaders, to develop strategic plans for diversity/flexibility. These plans should support business needs
                      • Help shape strategy for and implement key People quality and growth processes and initiatives, especially in relation to inclusiveness/flexibility
                      • Discuss and review strategies, approaches, program materials and communications from other COEs. These should embed inclusiveness within the firm and align messaging with priorities
                      • Develop, implement and advise on policies, initiatives and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce/promote flexibility, and to promote the use of diversity to grow our business
                      • Develop and execute inclusiveness learning/development programs for employees and managers
                      • Attract, motivate and develop staff
                      • Prepare the annual budget for assigned program(s)/project(s), and track expenditure to operate within approved guidelines
                      • Identify and select appropriate change management tools for firmwide culture transformation, where this relates to diversity/flexibility
                      • Represent diversity/flexibility within and outside the firm, with a specific focus on external diversity conferences and organizations
                      • Help identify priorities for diversity/flexibility
                      • Review program materials and communications from the Inclusiveness COE
                      • Develop internal and external networks to use your functional knowledge throughout the firm
                      • Gain a strong understanding of key business and financial drivers that determine the firm's success. Find ways to incorporate firmwide diversity/flexibility initiatives
                      • Assign projects and tasks to project managers and/or direct reports, and supervise and review the completion of these tasks
                      • Review the performance of subordinate professional staff
                      • Develop an understanding of the firm's business and culture
                      Knowledge and skills requirements
                      • Strategic and conceptual thinking skills
                      • Extensive knowledge of inclusiveness/diversity/flexibility including gender, ethnicity, disabilities, generations, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues

                      • A minimum of 10 years related experience
