The LAS- Global Studies Program is seeking a full-time Lecturer to contribute to: 1) the development and teaching of core courses for the undergraduate program in Global Studies, 2) the advising and mentoring of Global Studies majors, and 3) general program development and support. Candidates should be able to teach an introductory Global Studies course, social-science based research methods, and courses in their area of specialization. This is a non-tenure track, 10-month position, with possibility of renewal based on strong performance reviews.
Minimum Education and Work Experience
PhD degree required by the start date. Degree should be in International or Global Studies, Geography, Sociology, Economics, Anthropology, or related Social Science, with a focus on Development Studies, Transnational Economic Relations, Global Health, or Environment and Sustainability. Preferred areas of expertise: Development Studies and/or Global Health. Preferred experience: relevant teaching in traditional and non-traditional environments (e.g., online, blended, field), academic advising, and/or international education program development.
