Position Title: Manager, National Strategic Partnerships
This position is responsible for driving sales to new homeowners through hiring, ongoing training, management and performance improvement for builder sales reps in multiple markets. This position is also responsible for motivating sales personnel and recognizing their contributions so as to establish a culture that drives the achievement of sales objectives. This position will require up to 60% overnight travel.
Responsible for staffing levels, hiring, new employee orientation, training, and performance results and evaluations for builder sales reps working in branches in multiple markets.
Coordinate sales activity by establishing geographic coverage areas, sales quotas and goals.
Ability to remote manage sales reps activity daily, weekly and monthly through daily performance calls in addition to in person group and one on one meetings during market visits.
Conduct field training by accompanying and evaluating sales personnel on sales prospecting activities and sales presentations
Review sales performance of staff and conduct refresher training (individually and in groups) and performance evaluations, establishing improvement plans as needed
Meet with builder sales agents and design center coordinators to ensure all sales programs are fully supported by builder
Resolve consumer inquiries and issues regarding installations, product quality, sales price, contract and other relevant inquiries
Direct and motivate staff to ensure employee retention
Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Director, Builder Program in order to achieve department objectives and profitability

Education/Work Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred and four to six years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Directly supervises 5 or more employees involved in direct sales at the branch. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and direct work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Up to 60 % overnight travel is required.
