Job Description:
As Senior Web Manager – you will be
responsible for the implementation and ongoing
development of the digital strategy and programs that
optimizes the experience for visitors to

at each stage of the consumer / shopper / owner journey:
product & service research and purchase and post
purchase support. You will have responsibility for
driving consumer / shopper / owner engagement and
interaction in the online environment. Responsibility
also includes ownership of optimizing the website to
maximize sales.
Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing you will
be responsible for growing the business through and step changing’s
contribution to the North American Floorcare business.
The successful candidate will have a strategic and
professional approach to marketing, an uncompromised
focus on optimizing the consumer /shopper / owner
experience, and a healthy rigorous results-centric
commercial and sales driven approach.
This is a highly visible mission critical position with
significant exposure to senior leadership and
opportunity for future growth.

Job Duties:
Optimizing the Online Experience (including but not
limited to)
  • Identifying and prioritizing opportunities to
improve the on-site user experience and work with
internal developers and designers to ensure these
are realized
  • Developing on site and off advertising / marketing
to drive traffic, purchase intent, and brand equity.
  • Ensuring shopping on is seamless,
intuitive, and delightful.
  • Adding value to the experience via
development of a strategy for superior post purchase
support and add-on sales.
  • Lead the development of mobile optimized site and
delivering other online initiatives
(e.g. DRTV)
  • Engage the offline marketing team to integrate and
maximize the effectiveness of brand campaigns to
ensure a consistent experience
  • Relentlessly improve the design, usability, content
and conversion points of
Online Sales (including but not limited to)
  • Ongoing development and implementation of an annual
sales promotion plan to deliver the sales
  • Engage the CRM Manger, E-commerce Manager and Digital
Marketing Manager to plan and implement all online
marketing campaigns and optimize campaigns to produce
the best ROI for the organization
  • Improve overall sales, basket size and basket value
via rigorously developed sales and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure, through gap analysis, appropriate action is
taken to correct site and business performance within
cost effective targets
  • Regular reporting on web performance and programs,
Closely monitoring performance trends versus targets and
expectationsAnalyse and interpret user journey stats in
order to improve the customer experience and brand
Other Duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related
  • 8 to 10 years marketing experience including digital
marketing and management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship development
skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience of budgeting, reporting and analysis –
must be highly numerate and analytical
  • Experience in sales and marketing planning and
forecasting to optimize resource allocation within
sales goal and budget constraints
  • Experience in direct Sales/Marketing channel
management, including responsibility for agency
management, 3rd party vendors, budget, creative
development, execution and integration with call
center environments to ensure a positive customer
experience and exceptional results against marketing
  • Clear and demonstrable understanding of delivery of
consumer products, via the online channel, into the
US market.
  • Strong understanding the digital landscape and how
it can be used to support and develop the brand.
  • Demonstrable expertise in implementing innovative
and impactful enterprise-wide digital strategies,
interventions and plans.
  • Eager to continuously shape change and drive
innovation across online channels.
