Provide Human Resources support to business unit
or corporate functional area which may include
recruiting, selection and staffing, employee
relations, report preparation, and personnel
documentation. Strong employee relations and
exceptional MS product skills desired.

Education/

Experience:
• Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or
Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-
year college or university (emphasis in Human
Resources Preferred) or a minimum of eight years
of related experience in an HR department and/or
training.

General

Comments:
In addition, he/she is responsible for:
• Confer with management and supervisors
to identify personnel needs, jobs
specifications, job duties, qualifications, and
skills.
• Review applications and interview
applicants to obtain work history, education,
training, job skills, and salary requirements,
and to provide information about the
organization and position.
• Responsible for information gathering
and ongoing compliance of Affirmative Action
Plans.
• Respond to inquiries regarding policies,
procedures and programs.
• Prepare employee separation notices and
related documentation.
• Plan and conduct new employee
orientation to foster positive attitude toward
company's goals.
• Identify legal requirements and
government reporting regulations affecting Human
Resources.
• Administer and track AAR Educational
Assistance Program.
• Prepare and update job descriptions for
all positions on an on-going basis.
• Assist in coordination of annual merit
increases and performance reviews.
• Assist in preparation of government and
management reports, such as EEO, turnover, etc.
• Interpret and explain human resources
policies, administer salary advances, tuition
reimbursement.
• Serve as backup to set up files on all
new personnel in the EV5 system. Record changes
on all employee status as necessary (i.e. change
of address, departmental transfers, rate
increases, terminations, etc.) and forwards to
payroll.
• Run appropriate reports using
ReportSmith software.
• All other duties as assigned.
