JOB SUMMARY

The Business Operations Analyst position is within the Skilled Resource Management Group. The Operations Analyst serves as a Resource Management Analyst, working both independently and with a Resource Team collecting, consolidating and analyzing staffing information in support of Corporate and Program initiatives. Extensive coordination across Practices, Business Units, and Corporate Offices is required. The Analyst will collect, consolidate, analyze, and present information in support of contract, budget, programs and Corporate–wide initiatives as requested by Business Unit Managers, Program Managers, and Corporate Executives.

Detailed Description

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assigned to support Business Units or Programs and consults with its leaders to ensure focus is prioritized on pertinent operational, resource, cost, and program support initiatives from the leader’s perspective

· Applies knowledge and information to the relationship between Business Management and the business application, continuously streamlining and improving processes

· Builds and maintains good customer relationships and contributes to Program and Business Unit effectiveness and customer satisfaction

· Collect, receive, and understand information and requirements from all relevant sources

· Analyze resource requirements received, identify trends, conduct variance analysis, highlight areas of concern or potential risk, and present to senior management

· Prepare data and presentations in support of various meetings

· Attend high level meetings as a representative of SRMG to capture action items and other critical communications regarding efforts and fielding questions from junior and senior managers at our Government Customer sites

· Track incoming resource requirements via Program ECP, Emerging Business and Business Development Resource Plans

· Support Red Team reviews of ECP Resource Plans from a Resource Management perspective

· Tracks personnel changes via Change Forms and monitors Corp and Contract staffing needs through various staffing lists

· Identify, collect, analyze and report data and metrics in support of corporate and customer needs and requirements

· Drive greater business visibility, develop customer campaign stories that reflect deliveries integral to our value proposition, and drive analytics behind key research initiatives

· Recommend improvements to existing resource management tools and capabilities, and support the assessment of, and produce requirements for, new tools and capabilities

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent relevant work experience

· The candidate should possess sufficient professional competence to operate independently within a broad scope of authority and with minimal and/or no supervision

· The successful candidate must take initiative without prompting and have excellent follow through

· Requires extensive use and proficiency in multiple computer based applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.))

· The candidate should have experience analyzing large data sets

· Understand the resource requirement lifecycle and have ability to analyze staffing trends to identify shortfalls and critical requirements

· Familiarity with Oracle modules such as iRecruit, iProcurement, HRIS, or Project Resource Management or another ERP system is highly desired

· Application and representation of the basic understanding and execution of the Business Management Processes to include but not limited to, Project Plans, Risk Assessments, Resource Capacity Management, and Program Support highly desired

· Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems

· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

· Capable of setting up and running an entire project from start to finish with zero to minimal help

· Excellent communication skills a requirement

· ITIL V3 or PMP a plus

· Previous experience with a government contractor(s) a plus

· Security Clearance requirement: candidate should have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
