Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.
You must possess a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, and:
- 3+ years of experience programming in C
- 3+ years of experience in embedded development
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Assembly language experience is preferred.
-PC architecture and operating systems.
-Knowledge of Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) and/or Framework and/or Tiano* BIOS would be an added advantage.
-Working knowledge of software engineering processes and project life cycles a plus.
-Ability to work well in a diverse team environment as well as with cross site peers.
-Ability to multitask
