Our client in Los Angeles is ready to hire an Advanced Production Engineer to provide operations and production engineering expertise to the specific division assets in order to maximize production, identify new opportunities, and maintain all safety and environmental standards.Responsibilities:-> Work closely with Engineering Staff and area operations personnel to identify production enhancement opportunities-> Understand how to use well surveillance tools(xspoc, ESP Watcher, DSS) to benefit production improvement-> Assist as technical resource on evaluation teams for potential acquisitions in relevant geographic areas-> Maintains that producing properties operate at a maximum economic rate.-> Ensure adherence to all company, local, state and federal health, environmental and safety regulations.-> Seek opportunities to network outside the company to build relationships and gather information that lead to future business opportunitiesRequirements:-> Engineering degree in Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering and exposure to oil and gas production operations-> 5-7 years operations/production/ drilling engineering experience-> Well rounded experience and knowledge of artificial lift design, drilling, completions technologies, compression and/or process equipment-> Experience working in onshore operations preferableBenefits:-> Medical, Dental, Vision, 2 Weeks Vacation, 10 paid Holidays, 401k match....
