Supervises the financial and office-support functions in a department or agency which does not have a Business Manager or Controller; does related work as required.
Act as medical Office Manager for the Richmond Medical Park and Hermitage Enterprises operations. Supervise business support staff, including coaching, ensuring equitable distribution of work duties, enabling staff to continue to grow and learn. Provide quality business support services in front desk procedures, financial services/insurance issues, revenue collection, medical records and data entry. Routine monitoring of processes and Q/A checks to ensure data integrity, cash management and HIPAA compliance and optimal administrative support. Produce most Q/A reporting for all Business Supervisors. Write and update business process manual. Ensure that the office provides excellent customer service. Provide comprehensive facilities management services for the branch offices ensuring issues are reported and resolved in timely manner.
Good knowledge of administrative practices and procedures; good knowledge of proper business and accounting procedures; ability to manage budget preparation and to effectively monitor expenditures; considerable knowledge of office automation practices, procedures and equipment; skill in training and supervision; ability to effectively organize and delegate diverse work assignments; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to keep accurate records; ability to coordinate a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Completion of two (2) years of college-level coursework in a related field and three (3) years of related business work experience, including one (1) year of supervisory experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Health Care Administration with 2 year supervisory experience and working knowledge of Managed Care/Third Party Payers preferred. Strong computer skills including advanced Excel spreadsheet skills necessary to perform the job. Excellent analytical and Quality Assurance skills preferred.
