MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS
Degree Requirements: A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required along with 4 years of related experience. Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in Department of Defense (DoD) GFE acquisition support will be accepted in lieu of degree.
Relevant Experience (amount and type): This position requires a minimum of three (3) years of recent professional experience in GFE acquisition support.
- Knowledge of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) acquisition process.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and DoD 5000.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
We are seeking a full time Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Specialist. The GFE Specialist will develop and document GFE and its acquisition for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Rotary Wing programs and cases.
(1) Provide GFE acquisition support for Rotary Wing platforms.
(2) Track GFE deliveries and prepare progress and status reports to ensure proper and timely delivery.
(3) Research any delays that may occur and provide efficient work-arounds.
(4) Reported any GFE discrepancies.
(5) Create and maintain logbooks for day-to-day updates on GFE deliverables.
(6) Reviewed program documentation to ensure that GFE contractual requirements are met.
