Primary Focus

The Vendor Management Office (VMO) Portfolio and Demand Management Associate will be responsible for managing the process for new Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) demand and project requests functioning as the I&O Program Management Office. This responsibility includes coordinating the intake of requests with Business IS representatives and working with I&O technical managers to evaluate requirements and define scope. You will also work closely with Vendor Project Management to communicate requirements and determine budgets and schedules which you will track and report in management meetings. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating Data Center, Facilities and M&A projects.
Key Accountabilities

Liaise between DE IS Teams, DE lines of business and I&O Managed Service Providers to address concerns, answer questions, and share knowledge of systems and processes.
Create successful relationships at all levels of the organization, and with external service providers.
Develop, manage and communicate integrated project plans for assigned projects.
Manage scope, stakeholder expectations, risk, schedule, quality, and financial goals of assigned projects through full project lifecycle.
Work within the change management processes and ensure compliance with change approval, implementation and documentation standards.
Compile LOB forecasts for project work. Coordinate new demand communication and approval processes
Support budget cycle by providing consolidated project demand information
Oversee infrastructure projects with vendor partners and the DE LOB’s and provide coordination and communication between business units and vendor partners.
Identify resource requirements and work with the DE I&O Team and Vendor Partners to fill needs.
Communicate with DE I&O Management Team and key stakeholders for status, dependencies, and risks
Track and manage OpEx and CapEx spend for programs and ensure budgetary requirements are met.

Work with delivery teams, both internal and with partner vendors, to ensure solution meets business requirements
Ensure Business and Technical Readiness for all project implementations.
Ensure all processes and technical designs are documented. Ensure appropriate handover to production support processes as necessary.
Ensure PMO methodologies are followed and required artifacts are documented for assigned projects to ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

Travels when required to fulfill tasks assigned.

Excellent communication skills, listening and negotiation skills in order to articulate ideas and thoughts clearly through various means, including written and oral communications with all levels of the organization up to and including executive management.
Ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions.

Education and Work Experience:
7 Years experience in project management.

3 Years experience management, team lead, or other equivalent leadership experience.

Experience creating and managing business requirements, project plans, project schedules and associated project materials.

Experience with diverse and complex IS environment (hardware/software, Purchased/In-House developed, legacy/current)
