Advertised Summary Job Description

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Project Coordinator will participate in the implementation of research studies. He/She will assist the PI and clinical research team in the start-up of studies including, but not limited to, regulatory document processing and database management. Responsible for maintaining central files, data tracking systems and ad-hoc reports. Will assist the PI in managing and implementing daily research activities, including coordinating meetings and activities among project sites and consultants. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmaceutical companies and other team members. Strong focus on teamwork, attention to detail, excellent organizational and planning skills. Must have ability to prioritize work in a multi-task environment. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel. Training in GCP, and HIPAA regulations will be required.
