Position Summary/Mission: Leads a team of approximately 12 account management professionals responsible for managing Aetna''s ongoing relationships with 90+public sector and labor customers in the assigned territory (PA, DE, WV, MD, DC, and VA).Fundamental Job Requirements: - Works with account teams to develop and execute strategic plans focused on growth/retention, customer satisfaction, and profitability - Supports account teams as they develop productive and collaborative internal partnerships in support of customer objectives- Ensures alignment of the account-specific strategy with the customers financial, human resources, and employee benefit objectives- Manages, develops, and cultivates relationships with constituents (producers, customers, and providers) as appropriate- Partners with team members as appropriate in meetings with clients to professionally represent Aetna in the marketplace and articulate how Aetna''s products and services can contribute to constituents objectives- Develops strong internal relationships in support of the account teams to ensure strong service delivery; leads efforts to resolve internal administrative challenges- Recruits, develops and retains a diverse workforce- Sets, communicates, implements, and monitors performance metrics with assigned team and aligns assigned performance measures with company objectives
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.

Aetna''s public sector and labor segment is a rapidly growing component of our business. Our team serves customers in Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. Team members operate on a work-at-home basis and reside in metropolitan Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. The preferred location of the incumbent in this job is Aetna''s Blue Bell, PA, office but we are flexible on that point.In addition to the base salary range shown above, target annual incentive compensation for this position is $110,000.
