KP Building Products, a major manufacturer of vinyl siding, aluminum trim and related accessories is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover Nashville, TN and other strategic areas. We sell to wholesalers—primarily one-step distributors and actively call on contractors and builders. We seek a motivated and assertive Regional Sales Representative with consultative selling skills. Individual will be responsible for growing accounts, relationships, and making sales calls with distributor sales personnel, as well as independently. Primary responsibilities include opening new one-step distribution, call on large remodelers and builders; prospecting on new accounts; following up on incoming sales leads; establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with target customers Other Responsibilities: Establish and implement a regional marketing strategy Promote and sell our complete line of products to help achieve personal and company growth and profitability targets Become knowledgeable on product line and product positioning for effective sales growth The salary is base pay, plus potential bonuses. Requirements Ideally, 5-7 years sales in the building materials industry, strong preference in the siding business Demonstrated abilities in customer service, collaboration and communication skills A self-directed professional that is detailed oriented, highly organized and competitive Excellent organizational and time management skills Accustomed to working from a home office as base of operations with some weekly overnight travel. Computer proficiency – knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor Degree preferred
