This job code is only to be used for associates in the Back Office, supporting GCIB. Manages a small unit or multiple teams in a GCIB support operations function (clearance/settlement, trade processing, etc.) in one or more product areas (equities, fixed-income, futures, FX, etc.). Manages daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, procedures and regulatory requirements. Decisions impact one or more product lines with moderate scope, regulatory, financial, and client impact. Implements new or revised products, systems and services. Modifies existing procedures and analyzes and resolves non-routine and/or moderately complex operational problems often requiring research to resolve. Requires full working knowledge of operations functions and specific products/services managed. Responsible for interviewing, training, performance planning, coaching and making decisions on hiring staff. This associate often serves as the backup to the senior manager on projects or day-to-day management of the team. Associates in this role typically have prior line management experience.
