Our Orlando Florida site has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic Part-time hourly Yard Workers , who'd like to join the excitement of our auction business. This position would be ideal for someone with a flexible schedule and lots of free time. If you are looking for casual part time work that is steady this might be the right position for you.

This is a part-time position and applicants should be available to join the crew for our 4 - 5 annual auctions . Time commitment for this role will consist of 4 to 6 weeks of work , before during and after sale, and approximately one month off before the next set of scheduled hours. This position would be ideal for students, retirees', veterans or others with part-time work and flexible schedules. No prior auction experience is required.

The Next Sale in Orlando is on August 15th.

The Opportunity :
The Yard Worker helps the Yard Manager to organize the Orlando yard for our auction. In this role you’ll:
  • Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Play a key role in organizing equipment in the yard for the auction.
  • Assist customers to load their equipment purchases, and answer customer questions related to the yard.

Job Requirements
Here's what you bring :
  • Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment and trucks, or have worked in a construction type of environment.
  • Ability to operate a large 36,000 lb forklift would be an asset.
  • A proven track record of working safely and contributing to a safe workplace.
  • The ability to work independently – you have a take-charge attitude.
  • High degree of attention to detail! Organized and able to juggle many tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills - must be able to relate to customers and team members really well. Fluency in a second language an asset but not required.
