Contract Duration: up to 18 months

Rate: $19.50/hour W2
Project Description: Responsible for testing the network software and hardware that forms part of our client line of networking connections. The results of these tests are used to improve products stability and competitiveness, and quantify market-readiness of network connections.
Daily Responsibilities: New Motherboard designs will arrive in the lab for testing. Execution of network driver validation, running installation, configuration, checking features and compatibility, and debugging at a black box level to characterize issues. Results will be collected and submitted for review and reporting. Qualified candidate will also be performing platform builds and upgrades.
Necessary Skills :
Understanding of TCP/IP and layer 2 networking and switch configuration
General understanding of PC architecture
Experience loading NDIS drivers and hardware on Win 7 and/or Win 8
Effective written communication skills
Timeliness, flexibility, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Above all we require a strong attention to detail for configuration settings and results reporting
Additional skills desired, but not required: Previous validation or testing experience
