Project Description: We are looking for candidate who can help with Software Builds & maintain/add automation scripts.
Respond to and resolve emergency build or release issues while supporting users from different geographical sites.
Monitor and maintain build and release infrastructure, which includes working with IT for server issues, assigning and maintaining user permissions and other build issues as needed.
Responsible for the version management, build, and release infrastructure supporting multiple agile based development teams on Windows, Linux and iOS based platforms.
Responsible for the application of SCM best practices and tools to ensure software build reproducibility, control and quality as well as developing continuous improvements on the SCM infrastructure to increase build process and cycle-time efficiencies.
Work to tie automated static and dynamic analysis and other tools into the build infrastructure to drive automated test.
Maintain/add automation scripts in the lab’
Work under the direction of the sponsor/lead
Necessary Skills :
Minimum three years of Software Configuration Management
Ability to program in C/C++
Minimum five years of experience with scripting, build tools and automation
Expertise in Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes, tools and techniques (Version Control tools, Defect Tracking, Static Analysis, Dynamic Analysis)
Administrator-level hands-on experience with an SCM and continuous integration style build system, preferably across both Windows and Android platforms
Experience using Make / bin tools and processes, using Windows and Android
Additional skills desired, but not required:
Experience in a geographically distributed software organization or team
Experience deploying and administering Open-Source or commercial build and release tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Build Forge
Demonstrated working experience with Windows SW Tool Chains, SCM systems, Code Repositories (GIT, Clearcase), Revision Control Servers
Experience developing and deploying Perl and/OR Python based build infrastructure
Experience with Windows internals tools such as Windows Resource Kit or Microsoft System Internals to analyze and debug windows build or infrastructure issues.
