Formalized Design has 2 immediate needs for Contractors with our client in Salt Lake City, UT. We are seeking Semiconductor Maintenance Equipment Technicians , who are experienced working on semi equipment. This is a 9 month assignment, potential to be longer, and the role predominately focused on breaking down 8" equipment to move to another area, more than repairing.

This is a 1st shift role, but the client may need some coverage beyond the typical schedule.

ContractSemiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician

Contract Location : Salt Lake City, Utah

Contract Length: 9 Months w/possible extension

Number of Roles: 2

Necessary Skills:
Must have a very strong electro-mechanical aptitude and be proficient in equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Proficient with common applications used on personal computers (Word, Excel, etc...).

Required to work with various hazardous gases, chemicals, and electro-mechanical systems.

Must be a self-motivated /self-starter who can perform in a team environment and seeks knowledge for personal improvement.

Must have a positive "can do" attitude and takes ownership in all aspects of the job.

Must be responsive to overtime when required.

Must be able to come up with new ideas and inquires on feasibility.

Must be able to work independently while determining root-cause of failure and working to resolve the issue with pride in craftsmanship.

Must be able to update and create preventative maintenance procedures based on best known methods.

Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with management, production, engineering and other maintenance personnel.

Must be able to document all work records (Workstream, passdown, etc.) completely and accurately.

Applicant will be required to work in a clean room environment.

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for up to 1/3 of the shift.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and able to pass all safety certifications required for this job.
