Warehouse Worker-All Shifts
Job Summary :

The warehouse associate will help warehouse managers receive incoming merchandise and sort in appropriate location. Will pick and pack orders specific to customer’s orders. A high school education or equivalent is required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license in the state which he/she seeks employment and a good driving record.

Job Duties and Requirements:

§ Reads customer order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
§ Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
§ Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
§ Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock.
§ Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders for loading.
§ Marks materials with identifying information.
§ Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
§ Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
§ Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
§ Drives vehicle to transport items within the warehouse.
§ Prepares parcels for mailing.
§ Other duties may be assigned.
§ Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 150 pounds.
