2013 Summer Internship - Corporate Sustainability Management Position is Located in Broomfield, Colorado This is a 10-week internship from May 28, 2013, to August 2, 2013. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in an undergraduate or MBA program graduating in 2013. Primary Purpose – This position shall support Ball Corporation’s corporate sustainability management, with a particular focus on greenhouse gas emissions and supply chain sustainability. Requirement for applying: Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Resident Alien status. Resumes/Cover Letters must include: · Current major · Expected graduation date Responsibilities: · Supports the sustainability function in all areas of corporate sustainability management · Supports sustainability data collection and reporting towards internal and external stakeholders (e.g. website, sustainability ratings and rankings, customer questionnaires) · Drives progress in the area of supply chain sustainability · Supports scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emission reporting · Monitors legislative and soft-law developments regarding packaging recycling in North America · Facilitates dialog around sustainability with all global divisions to further integrate sustainability-thinking into the various functions Job Requirements: · Major in Corporate Sustainability Management or a closely related field, either in an undergraduate or graduate program (preferably graduating in 2013). · Working knowledge of the following areas: o Corporate sustainability management o Packaging sustainability (e.g. life cycle assessments) o Packaging recycling in the U.S. (legislative, technology, players) o Greenhouse gas emission accounting and reporting o Supply chain sustainability This is a paid internship, housing and transportation expenses may be provided for out-of-state candidates.
