2013 Summer Internship, Environmental Health & Safety (Packaging Division)
Position is located in Broomfield, Colorado This is a 10-week internship from May 28, 2013-August 2, 2013. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and graduating in May or December 2014. Objective: To facilitate the development and implementation of EH&S Management Information Systems (EHSMIS), automate EH&S processes, and test/evaluate software products. Requirements for Applying: · Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Resident Alien status Resumes/Cover Letters must include: · Current major · Expected graduation date Responsible for: Reviewing with Senior Analyst, various software tools used to compile EH&S data; write/develop/present training programs for end users; review manual department processes that could potentially be automated. Assist in preparing the EHSMIS Software for submitting required compliance reports, permit preparation, and reviewing/reporting of emissions data. Assist in the implementation of software systems. Implementation may include working with multiple departments, vendor representatives, and plant personnel. Job Requirements: · Major in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Health and Safety · Exceptional computer skills - k nowledge and experienced user of Microsoft Office applications is required (i.e., Excel). This is a paid internship, housing and transportation expenses may be provided for out-of-state candidates.
