UM’s 2013 Summer Internship Program provides students with an opportunity to experience real business situations in the advertising industry. Working as part of the team, interns are exposed to the day-to-day on how we transform media exchanges into marketing results.
The 10-week internship begins on Monday, June 3, 2012 and ends Friday, August 9, 2012. Interns will be expected to work full-time at our Birmingham office.

- work on a group project to be presented at the end of the internship

- Student currently enrolled in an undergraduate college or university and entering their junior or senior year this fall
- A strong and demonstrable interest in media, preferably majoring in advertising/media, marketing,communications, or similar
- Excellent communication skills, innately curious, collaborative spirit, attention to detail, and leadership potential
- Proficiency in math and solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
