Supervise the performance of the collections coordinators to ensure they maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
Communicate management directives and department policies to the collectors.
Monitor the collector’s B-Screens and recommend appropriate action to the collector or department manager.
Communicate daily with department manager regarding collection or personnel issues.
Train new hires and periodically review policies and procedures with the collectors.
Monitor Performance against incentive goals
Schedule regular meetings with individual teams to discuss and assess team performance and recommend strategies for resolving customer issues.
Monitor Standard Operating Procedures, document performance issues and initiate disciplinary action when necessary.
Monitor and maintain attendance, vacation and personal sick time.
Maintain both credit card books of business.
Maintain BYB, Home Depot, Best Buy, Dollar Tree, Burlington Coat Factory accounts.
Develop training plans and targeted goals for the collectors as required.
Assist in writing semi-annual and annual performance appraisals.
3 years’ experience Commercial Collection Experience
2 years supervisory experience
College Degree – Bachelors Business Mgt/Finance/Accounting
1 year SAP experience
