Major Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services and the Director of Student-Athlete Development, this position provides academic advising services and student-athlete development programming to UW-Madison student-athletes. The incumbent will provide academic advising, the monitoring of academic performance, and eligibility monitoring for assigned student-athletes. This individual will communicate regularly with coaches and administrators and will be available to meet with prospective student-athletes and their families on recruiting visits. The incumbent is responsible for continuing and improving current student-athlete development programming and developing new programming in the following areas: personal development and community service.

Additionally, this individual will be responsible for coordinating the new student-athlete orientation, sophomore nutrition experience, financial literacy programming, student-athlete graduation reception and several community service programs. It is anticipated that this individual will serve as an athletic academic advisor for football, as well as a student-athlete development assistant.Conditions: This is an Academic Staff appointment. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
