Establish and maintain working relationships with a portfolio of approximately 200 named accounts. Develop and execute tactical sales plans for each account that achieves the desired results in quota attainment and customer satisfaction within the assigned portfolio of accounts. Contact portfolio accounts by telephone or in person to keep abreast of the communication requirements and to identify opportunities to sell additional telephone products and services.
Analyze and evaluate customers existing services for voice, data, network, Internet Service, long distance or other products and services to determine the applicable changes or improvements. Calculate pricing for new or additional services and generate detailed, timely service proposals.
Prepare and make formal presentations to executive level management, telecommunications manager and consultants using written, oral and computer based tools and skills. Work with other company personnel as required to prepare detail analysis of equipment and hardware requirements, optional service and the financial impact of the proposed changes.
Coordinate with other members of the sales team, vendors, contractors, and other company employees to ensure proposed products and services meet the customer requirements and that installation schedules meet customer expectations and timelines. Delegate tasks as needed to provide coverage.
Identify legislative and regulatory rulings that affect the telecommunications industry and leverage that knowledge for competitive advantage with assigned portfolio customers.
Research and create specialized applications for targeted companies within industry segments to ensure customer needs are being anticipated and met in a timely and cost effective manner.
Monitor competitive activity and provide feedback to the Business Sales Manager.
Promote team building and the fostering of complete cooperation of the attainment of sales and revenue objectives with the Business Sales Manager and other field personnel.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related area or the equivalent in training and experience.
Minimum four (4) years experience in the telecommunications industry or the equivalent in training and experience.
Strong knowledge of telecommunication products and services.
Working knowledge of, or experience utilizing, sales methods, practices and techniques with demonstrated negotiation and/or closing skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in telecommunication sales.
Knowledge of current and developing communications products and services
