This is a Fulltime position.
Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field of study preferred and be a Qualified Professional.
Prefer candidate who is Licensed or Licensed-eligible ( LPC, LCSW, LPA ,LCAS, or LMFT) and has experience with the severe and persistent mental illness population (SPMI). Must hold a valid driver’s license. Candidate must possess excellent communication and written skills. Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry; must have ability to work in a multi-disciplinarian team.
Function as a practicing clinician on the team. Provide structured face-to-face individual and group therapeutic interventions to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains: adaptive, communication, personal care, domestic, psychosocial, problem solving, etc. in preventing, overcoming, or managing the recipient's level of functioning and enhancing his/her ability to remain in the community. Participate in daily staff meetings. Prepare and submit all documentation accurately and on time. Ensure incident reports are prepared and submitted on time. Prepare and present documentation for person centered plans and authorization requests. Participate in 24/7/365 on-call crisis phone rotation. Complete required training within prescribed timeframes. Successfully participate in the approved ACTT training. Other duties as assigned.
