Master’s Degree in human services field preferred, Bachelor’s Degree in human services field may be considered. Must have Qualified Professional status, experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness is desirable, valid NC driver’s license and proof of auto insurance with good driving record required, possess excellent communication and written skills.
Provide structured face-to-face scheduled therapeutic interventions to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains: adaptive, communication, personal care, domestic, psychosocial, problem solving, etc. in preventing, overcoming, or managing the recipient's level of functioning and enhancing his/her ability to remain in the community.
Make every effort to meet critical standards contained in the most current edition of the National Program Standards for ACT Teams as established by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill or US Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Mental Health Services.
Prepare and submit documentation accurately and on time. Participate in peer review. Ensure incident reports are prepared and submitted on time. Prepare and present documentation for utilization review. Assist in training new employees. Complete required training within prescribed timeframes. Successfully participate in the DMH approved ACTT training. Ability to work flexible schedule as needed. Other duties as assigned.
