This position is designed for educational and research experience for individuals working towards Masters or Doctoral degrees. This position performs research duties under the supervision/direction of a Scientist or Physician. The Graduate Research Fellow conducts advanced research in biomedical sciences. The work may be in a laboratory setting or may consist of computer work that supports the department's research mission. This position will work independently under general faculty supervision.
In some cases, this may be a formal student training position with an affiliation agreement between TMHRI and the Graduate Research Fellow's home institution. Depending upon the agreement, students may take courses in their home institution and receive TMHRI support of tuition and other benefits, as outlined in the affiliation agreement.
Bachelor's degree required. Must be enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. degree program.
Experience requirement will vary depending upon the individual department's field of research.
