Minimum Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

This position is being recruited for at the Advanced Competency Level under the Career Banding Program. The hiring range for this position is $33923-$45,186, and the salary grade equivalent is 61. ************************************************************************************************************************************************ Position will support the NC AIDS Training and Education Center project, which is a federal funded program that provides training to healthcare providers across NC. It is essential that the individual in this position be aware of the confidential nature of working with clinicians with HIV+ patients; this individual must be comfortable with sexual health related information and familiar with both clinical and vernacular language around sexual health, STDs, and common co-morbidities of HIV (e.g. hepatitis). It is essential that the individual be able to conduct effective follow up in all channels of communication (e.g. texting, faxing, paging, etc.) such that broad administrative tasks including travel arrangements, hospital privileges, and reimbursals are completed with busy clinicians across the state and region.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer candidates who have experience with program website upkeep, which includes video-based trainings with required on-line registration unique to each training module. Would like candidates who are able to manipulate videotaped lectures and other on-line content to feature key training messages. As well as, the ability to use complex call center technology to capture information requests and re-direct non-program calls as needed. Should be able to use Adobe Connect or other comparable telecommunications platforms to conduct remote training events statewide.

Special Physical/Mental Requirements:

Because trainings and program meetings will occur not only at UNC Chapel Hill but also across the state, a valid driver's license and the ability to drive to training venues is needed.
