Wyle is seeking highly motivated Aviation Electrician/Electronics technicians for wiring installation and repair of U.S. Army helicopter maintenance trainer’s. The successful candidates will use their CH-47 Chinook experience and expertise to install and repair wiring and electrical components in accordance with Army technical manuals and contractual specifications, standards, and instructions. Task requirements will include planning and organizing work assignments for production efficiency and minimizing cost. Research technical data, engineering drawings, specifications and illustrated parts breakdown. Verify unit failures, isolate malfunction cause and determine rework requirements. Perform diagnostic or complete disassembly of training device for accessibility of repair or replacement of defective component. Completely overhaul, repair or modifies generator as required. Uses specialized equipment and gages for the purpose of high potential insulation breakdown test, precision field resistance, mechanical alignment, gear mesh and component mating. Candidate must be willing to work Day or Night shift and Weekends as required. Some travel may be required within CONUS.

Education: Associate of Science Degree in Electrical and a minimum of one (1) year related experience is required.

Experience: At least one year of experience performing scheduled maintenance, repair and MOCs on the CH-47 Chinook helicopters is required. Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs. U.S. Army CH-47 experience with a MOS of 15F preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The successful candidate must have a solid history of functioning in a team environment, being a self-starter, and working independently with limited instruction, while meeting critical demands. This will require the candidate to have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail.
