Perform Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) functions during developmental test and operational flight of UA supporting the Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Force community in developing the doctrine, concepts of operations (CONOPS), and the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) needed to integrate future UAS into routine worldwide Fleet operations. Plan and execute tests in accordance with FAA, ICAO and DoD procedures. Prepare flight test documentation. Coordinate and assist in the execution of ground and flight test events.
Education: BS degree and 15 years of experience with 8 or more years of flight experience. Must be a previously qualified Mission Commander in either the P-3, E-2 or S-3 aircraft. Must possess a current Class II FAA physical or better. Technical degree is desired. Formerly qualified as a Tier II Plus or higher unmanned aerial system operator.
Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Preferred Experience: Current unmanned Mission Commander or Tactical Coordinator qualifications. Flight Test experience is also a plus. Test and evaluation experience is desired. Experience in persistent surveillance and C4ISR operations, exercise creation and execution, broad area surveillance conceptual planning is desired. Fleet exercise officer and/or mission planning expertise is desired.
