ASIC Applications and Solution Engineering Lead
The ASIC Applications and Solutions Engineering (ASE) Lead will be the primary interface in the area of ASIC Design for Foundry customers and vendors. They are responsible to a) deliver high quality solutions, services and support to our Foundry customers and vendors for all the ASIC capabilities we deliver to them b) quickly ramp our first time customers and external eco-system partners in ASIC Design on what it takes to implement high quality and proficient designs on Intel based technology c) work with Foundry sales/marketing and internal development teams to define the ASIC design capabilities and solutions needed to deliver the most competitive solutions for our Foundry customers.
Specific ASE responsibilities include:
-Pre-sales/contract support for Foundry ASIC Design Services
-Represents ASIC design platform and methodology to customers and brings back to the planning team any new requests from the customer
-Owns RFQ response for Foundry ASIC team for any given customer engagement
-Post sales APPS support for both customers and vendors
-Responsible for the definition of the 'design guide' framework and coordinating the development of collateral needed to guide the customer's usage of its offering including specification of requirements the customer needs to meet
-Represents platform and methodology offering with the vendors
-Capable first line technical support of customer and vendor related issues
-Owns development of 'technical content' for vendor or customer SOWs
-Drive the content and quality of Technical Publications for ASIC Design released to customers and vendors
The successful candidate will be able to showcase the following skillsets and experience:
-Minimum of MS EE or CE with 10+ years of proven and successful experience in leadership roles in complex ASIC development programs
-Proven track record of uncompromising customer orientation to deliver leading-edge solutions
-In depth understanding of product development on leading edge Si technologies (32/28nm+) with a strong preference for hands on experience with Intel Process Technology
-In depth understanding of the external Foundry and eco-system design enablement offerings and trends is a significant plus
-Complex problem solving and decision making with a proven record of results orientation
-Ability to work effectively with global teams in a variety of geographies
-Excellent supplier management skills
-Excellent communication skills with an ability to synthesize complex info into easy to digest form for senior executives
