looking for an ASP.NET developer to join our SharePoint enterprise development team. The incumbent will perform a variety of independent analysis, design, development, documentation, and problem-solving assignments related to SharePoint and custom integration solutions with line-of-business application data. Will manage projects throughout the software development lifecycle, including estimation, budgeting, scheduling, management reviews, user training and system documentation. Must work effectively with others in the Information Technology function and must be able to work effectively with internal customers to understand and meet their needs and expectations. Provides design, development and support of SharePoint web parts and automated processes, which are an integral part of the various business processes within the company. The activities performed include, but are not limited to:
Requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of SharePoint web solutions using ASP.NET, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and integration with third-party systems.
Serve as a subject matter expert for conversations pertaining to Microsoft SharePoint.
Manage projects throughout the software development lifecycle, including estimation, budget, schedule, management reviews, user training, and system documentation
4 to 8+ years of relevant technical experience and a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Business with an emphasis in Computer Science or IT, or other technical area or equivalent education and/or training.
3 to 5+ years experience managing SharePoint 2007/2010 environments, including EXPERT knowledge of SharePoint development and out-of-the box functionality. Experience with SharePoint administration, security, authentication, user and group management is preferred.
Ability to analyze, design, develop and test SharePoint solutions, such as custom web parts, timer jobs, and workflows.
Experience designing and developing SharePoint solutions for multi-environment SharePoint Farms, including Production, Quality, User Test, and Development.
Working knowledge of Active Directory.
Experience with Windows Server administration is beneficial, specifically with IIS.
Experience managing medium to complex technical IT projects through all aspects of a project life cycle, and serving as a technical resource across multiple projects.
Microsoft SharePoint certification is a plus.
